MISTRZOSTWA ŚWIATA NA MAZURACH

Mazury mają ambicje stać się smart-elektryczną świata – przynajmniej na okres mistrzostw świata pojazdów elektrycznych wodnych i lądowych już we wrześniu przyszłego roku. W tym celu trzy mazurskie kurorty: Mikołajki, Mrągowo i Giżycko połączyły siły, tworząc wraz z partnerami projektu Mazurską Wodną Strefę ECO-Elektryczną.

Zgodnie z treścią zawartego 22 maja porozumienia na terenie ulokowanej w trójkącie: Mrągowo, Mikołajki, Giżycko, Strefy w ramach Polskiego Programu Elektryfikacji Motoryzacji i we współpracy z KEZO Centrum Badawczym Polskiej Akademii Nauk  w sposób wzorcowy wprowadzane będą do użytkowania elektryczne pojazdy wodne i lądowe wraz z niezbędną infrastrukturą, wypracowując ekologiczne i technologiczne standardy dla innych regionów. Strefa wspierać będzie inicjatywy dążące do upowszechnienia rozwiązań energetyki rozproszonej, ekologicznych napędów alternatywnych, związanej z tym infrastruktury oraz polskich konstrukcji elektrycznych wodnych i lądowych. Regionalna koncentracja ekologicznych osiągnięć polskich konstruktorów i naukowców, umożliwi promocję na rynku europejskim i światowym, krajowych technologii ekologicznych i rozwiązań infrastrukturalnych oraz samej Strefy i jej Sygnatariuszy. Rozbudowa umożliwiającej profesjonalne przeprowadzenie mistrzostw eco-smart-infrastruktury, pozwoli na wydłużenie sezonu turystycznego regionu, przyciągając w okresach wiosennych i letnich turystów z pojazdami elektrycznymi, dla których Europa środkowa była dotąd terenem niedostępnym. Strefa wraz z jej Sygnatariuszami będzie współorganizatorem na jej terenie corocznego Pucharu Świata Pojazdów Wodnych i Lądowych, którego pierwsza edycja odbędzie się w 2020 roku („Land and Water” Electric World Cup of E-Mobile Poland 2020).

Współzałożycielami Strefy są także Heron Electric S.A. i BEP S.A., które dostarczą na mistrzostwa elektryczne polskie pojazdy sportowe i współpracować będą przy technologiach związanych z eco-smart infrastrukturą. Całe przedsięwzięcie ma ambicje stać się największym „świętem” e-mobile na świecie łącząc na lądzie i wodzie elementy sportu wyczynowego, amatorskiego i festiwalu muzycznego, która to mieszanka zaowocuje prawie miesięczną sportowo-technologiczno-muzyczną fiestą.

W dniu dzisiejszym do porozumienia przystąpić miał Marszałek województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego jednak termin podpisania rozszerzonej umowy jak  i termin konferencji prasowej został przesunięty. Opóźnienie to – jak się dowiedzieliśmy – nie ma wpływu na rozpoczęcie prac przygotowawczych i w najbliższych dniach będziemy mogli poinformować o dalszych szczegółach tego jakże ambitnego przedsięwzięcia.
